Cultural aspects of the zombie apocalypse - 1

This morning, my colleague Nina pointed out the manifestation of participatory culture in the phenomenon zombie walk. Well, yes. Also the "participatory" aspect of the zombie apocalypse proper cannot be overestimated insofar as - in one way or the other - everybody is likely to be part of it.
